The staged pressure ulcer care model is a highly realistic teaching device used for the prevention and care skills training of pressure ulcers.  It is designed according to the lesion characteristics of pressure ulcers at different stages and often covers the typical manifestations from stage I to stage IV, including skin redness, epidermal damage, exposure of dermis and subcutaneous tissue, necrosis and deep tissue damage, etc.  The surface of the model is made of simulated skin material, with a touch that is close to reality.  It can visually present the color, shape and texture changes of pressure sores at different stages, making it convenient for trainees to compare, learn and judge.

1. Analog adult’s buttock;  looks and feels realistic

2. can be worn in the student body

3. contains 4 different stages of pressure soreseasy to changeable

4.  bedsores bright color, internal color, exterior coated, so even if the use of disinfectant applied will not fade.

This model can be used for the training of multiple nursing skills, including the staging assessment of pressure sores, wound cleaning, dressing change, packing, necrotic tissue management, exudate management, as well as the selection and fixation of dressings.  Some models can also be combined with simulated secretions and odors to enhance the effect of contextualized teaching and help trainees understand the clinical processing procedures and precautions more comprehensively.

Through systematic training on the staged pressure ulcer care model, trainees can not only master the standardized wound treatment methods, but also learn preventive measures such as turning over for pressure relief, using pressure relief pads and keeping the skin clean and dry, thereby effectively reducing the incidence of pressure ulcers.  This equipment is widely used in nursing colleges, hospital training and community nursing teaching, and is an important tool for improving professional skills in pressure ulcer care.
