The horse body acupuncture model is a teaching tool specially designed for veterinary acupuncture teaching and clinical training. It is made according to the real scale of the horse, with a realistic shape, and can clearly display the distribution of the horse's meridians and the locations of the main acupoints.

The surface of the model is usually marked with a rich array of acupoint names and positioning lines, including the directions of the Governor Vessel, Bladder Meridian, Stomach Meridian, etc. on the horse body, as well as commonly used clinical acupoints such as Baihui, Jianjing, Huantiao, Hegu, etc., which is convenient for learners to practice by referring to the anatomical landmarks. During the usage process, trainees can master the positioning method of acupuncture points for horses through observation and touch, and simulate operations such as needling and finger pressure to experience the standard procedure of stimulating acupoints.

Some models are also equipped with a plug-in pin design, making the operation closer to clinical practice and helping learners develop manual skills and operational norms. The significance of this model lies in providing an intuitive and safe training platform for veterinary acupuncture learning, avoiding the risks brought by conducting initial operations directly on live animals, while enhancing teaching efficiency and learning interest. The horsebody acupuncture model is not only applicable to classroom teaching and clinical training in traditional Chinese veterinary medicine, but also widely used in scientific research exhibitions and academic exchanges. It is an important auxiliary tool for promoting the clinical application of animal acupuncture.
