Birth baby models are highly realistic teaching AIDS used in neonatal care and clinical skills training, and are widely applied in obstetrics, pediatrics and nursing teaching. This model is made based on the body shape and physiological characteristics of newborns, featuring key anatomical structures such as the head, limbs, chest and abdomen, and umbilical cord. It can simulate common neonatal operation scenarios, such as sputum aspiration, umbilical cord care, airway management, and basic vital sign monitoring.

In clinical practice training, trainees can learn to hold infants correctly, assess the breathing and circulation of newborns, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and handle asphyxia or pre-asphyxia conditions through models. The model can be reused, allowing trainees to repeatedly practice different operation steps, enhancing their proficiency in techniques and operational safety. Through simulation exercises, trainees can master the standard procedures of newborn care, be familiar with the key points of first aid operations, and develop the ability to deal with emergencies.

The clinical practice value of the birth infant model lies in providing a risk-free learning environment, allowing medical staff to accumulate experience before actual operation, reducing potential harm to the child patients, improving the quality of care and the efficiency of emergency rescue, and safeguarding the safety and health of newborns.
